It’s a herring gull and, you’re right, they’re noisy and aggressive. Kittiwakes are much smaller, quieter and gentler and live entirely on the sea cliffs. You’ll not see one in Whitby or anywhere near a chip shop.

it didn’t really feel like a hassle, but we do so much planning beforehand and don’t leave anything to chance. I sometimes think the planning and looking forward to a trip is G’s favourite part!
