Heys guys other than the villages we've covered in the post, I'm not that familiar with other villages on route to Bath. However you might want to consider visiting historic Oxford which is very close to the Cotswolds before you head to Bath?

Incredibly charming spots, very much what I would picture of small English towns, as you said "quintessentially English". I know I've heard of the Cotswolds but never really knew -what- they were. Few of these will have to go on the list for my next trip to Britain. Oh and thanks for explaining the meaning of "chipping", I've often wondered!

Hey Alexei Parking was easy, if you can't park on the streets we found car parks easily ... As for public transport, not 100% sure. The small villages like Snowshill are not accessible by coach, because of the narrow country lanes, I would say this area is better for exploring with a car..

Stunning pictures! We were in the Cotswolds in the winter which was obviously not that enjoyable as in the warmth which your pictures show. But it was awesome anyway. If you'd like to read our Cotswolds article it's on https://travelbug.co/2016/06/23/hidden-gems-in-the-cotswolds/
