In reply to Lisa Wisman. Hi Lisa, sounds like you're planning a great trip. I would try give yourself 5 days there if you can, there's so many beautiful walks and things to do. You'll be able to achieve much more than us in 1 day! And do book the Three Chimneys Restaurant, one of our best highlights of Skye, you won't be disappointed!

My grandfather, Malcolm Buchanan, was born on Isle of Skye… #38 Breckish and several aunts and uncles are buried in the old cemetery. I’ve been there three times, but it’s never enough and never long enough. I’m planning on bringing my to adult daughters there in September 2023 and spending two or three days. I’m so excited and can’t start planning early enough. Thoughts?

Your photos are fabulous. I could spend a year on Skye and not get photos half as good as yours. Hubby and I have been toying with the idea of visiting Skye in 2020. We live in Australia so it is quite a way to go. We had just about decided to give it the miss but now I have seen your photos and been reminded how beautiful the island is it is going back on the agenda.

You gents packed a lot into a couple of days! We’d likely spend all day just looking at a few of those sites, and I’m not sure we could pass up the hikes. So many gorgeous landscapes! Wonderful post – it makes me want to visit! We are back in the UK for a month over Christmas and are planning to take the Caledonian sleeper London to Fort William to get our Scotland fix! I have seen Skye but only from the Kyle of Lochalsh.
